Properties

Properties are set in the Inspector and are used when the matching input is not connected. Other nodes in Analysis › Boundary Condition:
  • ConvectionBC: Convective heat transfer BC (q = h·(T - T∞)) for thermal analysis.
  • ForceBC: Total force (vector) boundary condition, distributed over the boundary.
  • HeatFluxBC: Heat flux boundary condition (W/m², positive = into body) for thermal analysis.
  • HeatSource: Volumetric heat generation (W/m³) for thermal analysis, over the whole body or inside an optional region.
  • InletBC: Inlet boundary condition for flow analysis: a prescribed velocity or a prescribed pressure.
  • MomentBC: Moment (torque) boundary condition about an axis.
  • OutletBC: Outlet pressure boundary condition (traction-free outflow) for flow analysis.
  • PinBC: Pin (simply supported) boundary condition: fixes translation along a support curve while leaving rotation about it free.
  • RollerBC: Roller boundary condition: fixes only the displacement component along the given direction on a support curve.
  • TemperatureBC: Prescribed temperature (Dirichlet) boundary condition.
  • WallBC: No-slip wall (u = 0) boundary condition for flow analysis.
